  1. Residence, curate and lecturer: I reside in Exeter, in an house which I rent there being no parsonage House belonging to the Rectory of St Martin's.
    We have no Lecturer.

  2. Other benefices: Besides the Rectory of St Martin, I hold St Pancras in Exeter by Sequestration from ye Bishop & have also ye Rectory of Doddiscombleigh and a Prebend in the Cathedral Church of Exeter.

  3. Divine service at other churches: I perform Divine Service at my Parish Church of Doddiscombleigh during ye Summer months & my Curate who is a resident in Exeter officiates at St Martin's

  4. Frequency of divine service: Twice on Every Sunday with a Sermon each time.

  5. Frequency of communion: On the Great Festivals and on the 2d Sunday of Every Month, ye number of Communicants usually between twenty & thirty and on the Festivals ye number is from fifty to sixty generally.

  6. Catechising of children: The Charity Children are catechis'd three or four times in the year at which times a Sermon is also preach'd for ye Benefit of ye Charity Schools.

  7. Church fabric: The Church and Chancel are in good repair, & we have all things decent for divine service, we have not Churchyard belonging to ye parish, there being two large ones appropriated for ye city in general.

  8. Glebe terrier: We have no Terrier - as we have no Glebelands nor houses belonging to ye Rectory.

  9. Number of families: About forty.

  10. Chapels: We have no Chapel within the Parish.

  11. Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: We have but two reputed Papists in the Parish that I know of - no Meeting house of any Denomination.

  12. School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: We have no School, or charitable endowment of any kind that I know of nor parochial Library.

  13. Charity: We have no Charitable Benefaction of any kind that I can hear of.

    Institution to St Martin's 9 July 1770
    Institution to Doddiscombleigh 5 Apl. 1773
    Collation to my Prebend 13. Sept. 1775.
